Potassium Permanganate - Levy of additional duty on dumping [Chapter 28] Notification No. 137/95-Cus. Dated 5-9-1995 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 9A of the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975), read with Rule 21 of the Customs Tariff (Identification, Assessment and Collection of Duty or Additional Duty on Dumped Articles and for Determination of Injury) Rules, 1985, the Central Government on the basis of findings of the designated authority, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part-I, Section-I, dated the 8th August, 1995, that there is dumping in respect of Potassium Permanganate falling under Chapter 28 of the First Schedule to the said Act (hereinafter referred to as the said goods), when exported from People's Repulic of China to India, hereby imposes on the said goods when imported in India, an additional duty equivalent to five thousand nine hundred ninety-two rupees per Tonne.
