Air-conditioned cars and air-conditioned coaches imported by Travel Agencies and classified Hotels - Amendment to Notification No. 73/94-Cus. Notification No. 189/94-Cus. Dated 22-11-1994 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 73/94-Customs, dated the 1st March, 1994, namely :- In the Explanation to the said notification, for the words "Travel Agency approved by Director General of Tourism in the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India", the words, "a Travel Agency or a Classified Hotel approved by the Director General of Tourism in the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India", shall be substituted.
