Solar plated, copper plated, steel wire exempted from additional customs duty Notification No. 176/94-Cus. Dated 20-10-1994 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 88/94-Customs, dated the 1st March, 1994, namely :- In the said notification, to the opening paragraph, after clause (b) of condition (ii) and before the Table, the following proviso shall be inserted, namely :- "Provided that the goods specified, at Sl. No. 15 of List B of the said Table, shall also be exempted from the whole of the additional duty of customs leviable thereon under section 3 of the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975)."
