Inputs by Charitable Organisations Notification No. 173/94-Cus. Dated 6-10-1994 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 148/94-Customs, dated the 13th July, 1994 [G.S.R. 577 (E), dated the 13th July, 1994], namely :- In the Table annexed to the said notification, against Sl. No. 1, in column (3), for the words "State Government concerned" wherever they occur, the words "State Government concerned or from person or institution specified by the Central Board of Excise and Customs" shall be substituted.
