Iron steel melting scrap - Amendment to Notification No. 83/90-Cus. Notification No. 168/94-Cus. Dated 9-9-1994 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 83/90-Customs, dated the 20th March, 1990, namely :- In the said notification, after the words "induction furnace", wherever they occur, the words "or melting in a hot blast cupola" shall be added.
