Project Import (First Amendment) Regulations, 1994 Notification No. 140/94-Cus. Dated 1-7-1994 In exercise of the powers conferred by section 157 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Board of Excise Customs hereby makes the following regulations further to amend the Project Import Regulations, 1986, namely :- (1) These regulations may be called the Project Import (First Amendment) Regulations, 1994. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the official gazette. 2. In the Project Import Regulations, 1986 :- (a) in regulation 5, (i) in sub-regulation (2), for the words "Directorate General of Technical Development or the concerned sponsoring authority", the words "concerned Administrative Ministry or Department" shall be substituted. (ii) for sub-regulation (4), for the words "Directorate General of Technical Development or the concerned sponsoring authority", the words "concerned Administrative Ministry or Department" shall be substituted. (b) in regulation 6, in sub-regulation (2), for the words "Directorate General of Technical Development or the concerned sponsoring authority", the words "concerned Administrative Ministry or Department" shall be substituted.
