Raw sugar exempted from basic and additional customs duty Notification No. 119/94-Cus. Dated 12-5-1994 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 103/94-Customs, dated the 12th March, 1994, namely :- In the said notification, for the words "exempts refined sugar including white crystal sugar but excluding raw sugar" the words "exempts refined sugar including white crystal sugar and raw sugar" shall be subsituted.
