Leather industry - Import of specified goods - Amendment of Notification No. 45/94-Cus. Notification No. 115/94-Cus. Dated 21-4-1994 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 45/94-Customs, dated the 1st March, 1994, namely :- In the said notification, - (i) in the first proviso, for clause (c), the following clause shall be substituted, namely, - "(c) he shall, within three months or such extended period as the Assistant Collector of Customs may specify in this behalf, produce the extract of such account, duly certified by the Assistant Collector of Central Excise is whose jurisdiction the factory manufacturing the goods is situated, to the effect that the said goods have been used for the said purpose; and". (ii) in the second proviso, for the words and letter "goods listed under heading B", the words, letters and figure "goods listed under heading B, except in case of these goods specified against S. No. 9," shall be substituted. (iii) in the Table, under heading B, - (a) for S. No. 1 and the entry relating thereto, the following shall be substituted, namely :- (1) (2) "1. Formulations containing either Thio cyano methyl thio benzothiazole (TCMTB) or Para chloro meta cresol (PCMC) or both"; (b) against S. No. 9, in column (2), after item (vii), the following items shall be inserted, namely :- "(viii) Thio cyano methyl thio benzothiazole (TCMTB) (ix) Para chloro meta cresol (PCMC)".
