Exemption to tags, labels etc. by bona fide exporters [G.E. No. 140A] - Amendment to Notification No. 219/89-Cus. Notification No. 184/93-Cus. Dated 6-12-1993 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 219/89- Customs, dated the 1st August, 1989, namely :- In the said notification, for the portion beginning with the words "subject to the condition" and ending with the words "by the foreign buyer.", the following shall be substituted, namely :- "subject to the condition that the value of tags, labels, printed bags and stickers do not exceed rupees ten thousand in each case.".
