Adventure Sport Equipments - Amendment to Notification No. 105/91-Cus. Notification No. 278/92-Cus. Dated 24-9-1992 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 105/91-Customs, dated the 25th July, 1991, namely:- In the said notification, - (i) in the opening portion for the words "Adventure Sport Equipments", the words, figures and brackets "Golf Equipments falling under heading No. 95.06 of the First Schedule to the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975) and Adventure Sport Equipments" shall be substituted; (ii) in the second proviso, for clause (2), the following clause, shall be substituted, namely :- "(2) in case of import of Adventure Sport Equipments, a certificate from the Director General of Tourism in the Ministry of Tourism of the Government of India (hereinafter referred to as the said Director General), to the effect that the said equipments are required for adventure sports; and".
