Fertilizer Project Imports - Amendment to Notification No. 72/85-Cus. Notification No. 275/92-Cus. Dated 23-9-1992 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 72/85 - Customs, dated the 17th March, 1985, namely, - In the said notification, for the words and figures "from so much of the duty of customs which is leviable thereon under the said First Schedule, as is in excess of the amount calculated at the rate of 15 per cent ad valorem", the words "from the whole of the duty of customs leviable thereon under the said First Schedule" shall be substituted.
