Auxiliary Duty - Amendments to Notification Nos. 25/91-Cus., 27/91-Cus., 108/91-Cus. 109/91-Cus. Notification No. 22/92-Cus. Dated 16-1-1992 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), read with sub-section (4) of section 3 of the Finance Act, 1991 (18 of 1991), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby directs that each of the notifications of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), specified in column (2) of the Table hereto annexed, shall be amended or further amended, as the case may be, in the manner specified in the corresponding entry in column (3) of the said Table. TABLE Sl. No. Notification No. and date Amendment (1) (2) (3) 1. 25/91-Customs, dated the 14th March, 1991 In the Schedule annexed to the said notification, after S. No. 43 and the entry relating thereto, the following S. No. and entry shall be inserted, namely :- "43A. 83/90-Customs, dated the 20th March, 1990." 2. 27/91-Customs, dated the 14th March, 1991 In the Schedule annexed to the said notification, S. No. 65 and the entry relating thereto shall be omitted. 3. 108/91-Customs, dated the 25th July, 1991 In the Table annexed to the said notification, against S. No. 8 in column (3), for the entry, the following entry shall be substituted, namely :- "(i) Billets, blooms and slabs, or iron or non-alloy steel, containing by weight less than 0.6% of carbon (ii) Cold-rolled Electrical Steel sheets, grain oriented or not". 4. 109/91-Customs, dated the 25th July, 1991 In the Schedule annexed to the said notification, after S. No. 64 and the entry relating thereto the following S. No. and entry shall be inserted, namely :- "64A. 292/87-Customs, dated the 12th August, 1987.".
