Exemption to Specified Goods of Chapter 26 -Amendment to Notification No. 34/90-Cus. Notification No. 233/90-Cus. Dated 3-8-1990 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 34/90-Customs, dated the 20th March, 1990, namely :- In the Table to the said notification,- (i) against Sl. No. 3, for the entry in column (4),the entry ''10% ad velorem" shall be substituted; (ii) against Sl. No. 6, for the entry in column (4), the entry "20% ad valorem" shall be substituted; (iii) against Sl. No. 7, for the entry in column (4), the entry "Rs. 2000/- per tonne" shall be substituted.
