Goods Imported for Export under Import-Export Pass Book scheme - Amendment to Notification No. 117/88-Cus. Notification No. 14/90-Cus. Dated 20-2-1990 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 117/88-Customs [G.S.R. No. 407 (E)], dated the 30th March, 1988, namely :- In the said notification - (a) after paragraph 1, the following paragraph shall be inserted, namely :- "2. Nothing contained in this notification shall apply to goods imported as replenishment of indigenous goods used in the manufacture of resultant products exported under the said Import-Export Pass Book, where the said indigenous goods are obtained without payment of duties of excise under rule 191B of the Central Excise Rules, 1944;" (b) existing paragraph "2" shall be re-numbered as paragraph "3".
