Goods imported against advance licences - Amendment to Notification No. 116/88-Cus. Notification No. 13/90-Cus. Dated 20-2-1990 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 116/88-Customs [G.S.R. No. 406 (E)], dated the 30th March, 1988, namely :- In the said notification - (a) after paragraph 1 and before the Schedule; the following paragraph shall be inserted, namely :- "2. Nothing contained in this notification shall apply to materials imported as replenishment of indigenous goods used in the manufacture of resultant products exported as discharge of export obligation under the said Certificate, where the said indigenous goods are obtained without payment of duties of excise under rule 191-B of the Central Excise Rules, 1944."; (b) the existing paragraph 2 shall be renumbered as paragraph 3.
