Amendment to Notification No. 40/89-Cus. [ Ch. 29] Notification No. 223/89-Cus. Dated 16-8-1989 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 40/89-Customs, dated the 1st March, 1989, namely :- In the said notification, for the words "amino acids L Lysine and D L Methionine", the words "L Lysine, L Lysine Mono Hydrochloride, D L Methionine and Methionine hydroxy analog" shall be substituted.
