Amendment to Notification No. 48/89-Cus. [ Ch. 39] Notification No. 221/89-Cus. Dated 11-8-1989 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 48/89-Customs, dated the 1st March, 1989, namely :- In the Table annexed to the said notification, against S. No. 1, for the entry in column (2), the entry "polyphenylene oxide including modified polyphenylene oxide" shall be substituted.
