Goods imported against advance licences [G.E. No. 147] Notification No. 325/88-Cus. Dated 28-12-1988 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 116/88-Customs [G.S.R. No. 406(E)], dated the 30th March, 1988, namely :- In the said notification, - (i) in the opening portion, for the words "for execution of one or more export orders", the following words shall be substituted, namely :- "for execution of one or more export orders or for transfer to another Advance Licence holder"; (ii) in condition (c), for the words "are exported", the words "are exported or transferred to another Advance Licence holder" shall be substituted; (iii) for condition (g), the following condition shall be substituted, namely :- "(g) where the resultant products are transferred to another Advance Licence holder, such transfer shall be in accordance with the provisions relating to the Intermediate Advance Licences contained in Chapter XIX of the Import Export Policy April 1988-March 1991."
