Amendment to Notification Nos. 159/88-Cus. and 163/88-Cus. [Auxiliary Duty] Notification No. 314/88-Cus. Dated 9-12-1988 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), read with sub-section (4) of section 77 of the Finance Act, 1988 (26 of 1988), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notifications of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), specified in Col. 2 of the Table annexed in the manner specified in the corresponding entry in Col. 3 of the said Table. TABLE Sl. No. Notification No. and Date Amendment (1) (2) (3) 1. 159/88-Customs, dated the 13th May, 1988. In the Schedule to the said notification Sl. No. 279 and the entry relating thereto shall be omitted. 2. 163/88-Customs, dated the 13th May, 1988 In the Schedule to the said notification after Sl. No. 83 and the entry relating thereto, the following Sl. No. and entry shall be inserted, namely :- "84. No. 250/88-Customs, dated the 16th September, 1988".
