Amendment to Notification No. 67/87-Cus. [ Ch. 98] Notification No. 300/88-Cus. Dated 1-11-1988 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 67/87-Customs, dated the 1st March, 1987, namely :- In the said notification, for the explanation, the following explanation shall be substituted, - "Explanation - For the purposes of this notification, the term 'Power Projects (including Gas Turbine Power Projects)' shall not include Captive Power Plants set-up by projects engaged in activities other than power generation.''
