Amendment to Notification Nos. 45/79-Cus. and 213/88-Cus. [ CH. 29] Notification No. 290/88-Cus. Dated 12-10-1988 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby directs that each of the notifications of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), specified in column (2) of the Table hereto annexed, shall be amended or further amended, as the case may be, in the manner specified in the corresponding entry in column (3) of the said table. THE TABLE Sl. No. Notification No. and date Amendment (1) (2) (3) 1. 45/79-Customs, dated the 1st March, 1979 In the Table annexed to the said notification, Sl. No. 9 and the entry relating thereto shall be omitted. 2. 213/88-Customs, dated the 30th June, 1988. In the Table annexed to the said notification, after Sl. No. 2 and the entries relating thereto, the following Sl. No. and entries shall be inserted, namely :- (1) (2) (3) "3. Rifampicin Rifampicin capsules/ syrup/tablets and Rifampicin INH capsules/ tablets."
