Amendment to Notification No. 84/86-Cus. [ Ch. 78] Notification No. 270A/88-Cus. Dated 30-9-1988 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 84/86-Customs dated the 17th February, 1986, namely :- In the Table annexed to the said notification, against S. Nos. 5 and 6, for the figures and words "85% ad valorem", the figures and words "50% ad valorem" shall be substituted.
