Auxiliary Duty - Amendment to Notification No. 207/87-Cus. Notification No. 2/88-Cus. Dated 1-1-1988 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962) read with sub-section (4) of section 93 of the Finance Act, 1987 (11 of 1987), the Central Covernment, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government in the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, No. 207/87-Customs, dated the 12th May, 1987, namely :- In the Schedule annexed to the said notification, - After Sl. No. 308 and the entry relating thereto, the following Sl. No. 309 and entry shall be inserted, namely :- "No. 309. 1/88-Customs, dated the 1st January, 1988."
