Wireless apparatus, accessories and components Notification No. 511/86-Cus. Dated 29-12-1986 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, No. 123/85-Customs, dated the 11th April, 1985, namely :- In the said notification, - (i) in the opening paragraph, for the words, figures and brackets "from the whole of the duty of customs leviable thereon under the First Schedule to the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975)", the words, figures and brackets "from so much of that portion of the duty of customs leviable thereon which is specified in the First Schedule to the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975) as is in excess of 25 per cent ad valorem shall be substituted; and (ii) in paragraph 2, for the figures, letters and words "31st day of December, 1986", the figures, letters and words "31st day of December, 1987" shall be substituted.
