Amendment to Notification 158/85 Notification No. 135/86-Cus. Dated 17-2-1986 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), read with sub-section (4) of Section 43 of the Finance Act, 1985 (32 of 1985), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby directs that each of the notifications of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, specified in Column (2) of the Table hereto annexed shall be amended or further amended, as the case may be, in the manner specified in the corresponding entry in Column (3) of the said Table. TABLE S. No. Notification No. and date Amendment to be made (1) (2) (3) 1. 158-Customs, dated the 24th May, 1985. In the Schedule to the said notification, (i) Sl. Nos. 2, 26, 43, 44, 52, 53, 54, 66, 72, 81, 87, 89, 90, 95, 105, 118, 119, 125, 139, 169, 183, 184, 198, 235 and entries relating thereto shall be omitted; (ii) after entry No. 254 insert the following entries :— "255. 104-Customs, dated the February, 1986. 256. 105-Customs, dated the February, 1986. 257. 120-Customs, dated the February, 1986. 258. 121-Customs, dated the February, 1986. 259. 123-Customs, dated the February, 1986." 2. 163-Customs, dated the 24th May, 1985. In the Schedule to the said notification,— (i) S. Nos. 7, 8, 9, 12, 13, 17, 19, 25, 29 and entries relating thereto shall be omitted. (ii) after entry No. 43 insert the following entries: "44. 109-Customs, dated the February, 1986. 45. 111-Customs, dated the February, 1986." 2. This notification shall come into force on the 28th day of February, 1986.
