Notification under Section 66 of Customs Act Notification No. 133/86-Cus. Dated 17-2-1986 In exercise of the powers conferred by section 66 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government being satisfied that it is necessary in the interest of establishment or development of any domestic industry so to do, hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 24-Customs, dated the 23rd January, 1986, namely :— In the said notification— (a) for the figures "72", the figures "73" shall be substituted; (b) after Explanation (iii) the following Explanation shall be inserted, namely— "Explanation IV:— In this notification, the expression "steel sheet" means rolled products (other than coiled semi-finished hot roled products of rectangular section not less than 1.5 millimetres thick, of a width exceeding 500 millimetres and of a weight of not less than 500 kilograms per piece) of any thickness and, if in rectangles, of a width exceeding 500 millimetres". 2. This notification shall come into force on the 28th day of February, 1986.
