Amendment to 11 Notifications Notification No. 129/86-Cus. Dated 17-2-1986 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby directs that in each of the notifications of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance mentioned in column 1 of the Table annexed hereto, for the words mentioned in the corresponding entry in column 2 of the said Table, the following shall be substituted, namely :— "from the whole of the duty of customs leviable thereon which is specified in the First Schedule to the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975); and from the whole of the additional duty leviable thereon under section 3 of the said Customs Tariff Act". TABLE (1) (2) 1. 180-Customs, dated the 20th July, 1963. ''from the whole of the duty of customs leviable thereon". 2. 202-Customs, dated the 24th August, 1963. "from the whole of the duty of customs leviable thereon". 3. 163-Customs, dated the 16th October, 1965. "from the whole of the duty of customs leviable thereon". 4. 135-Customs, dated the 20th June, 1966. "from the whole of the duty of customs leviable thereon". 5. 85-Customs, dated the 5th August, 1967. "from the whole of the duty of customs leviable thereon". 6. 80-Customs, dated the 29th June, 1970. "from the whole of the duty of customs leviable thereon". 7. 103-Customs, dated the 5th December, 1970. "from the whole of the duty of customs leviable thereon". 8. 84-Customs, dated the 11th September, 1971. "from the whole of the duty of customs leviable thereon including the additional duty leviable under section 3 of the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975)". 9. 37-Customs, dated the 18th March, 1972. "from the whole of the duty of customs leviable thereon". 10. 46-Customs, dated the 25th May, 1974. "from the whole of the duty of customs leviable thereon including the additional duty of customs leviable under section 3 of the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975)". 11. 185-Customs, dated the 2nd August, 1976. "from payment of the whole of the duty of customs leviable thereon under the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975)". 2. This notification shall come into force on the 28th day of February, 1986.
