Amendment to 19 Notifications Notification No. 128/86-Cus. Dated 17-2-1986 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby directs that in each of the notifications of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance mentioned in Column 1 of the Table annexed hereto, for the words, mentioned in the corresponding entry in Column (2) of the said Table, the following shall be substituted, namely : — "from the whole of the duty of customs leviable thereon which is specified in the First Schedule to the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975); and from the whole of the additional duty leviable thereon under Section 3 of the said Customs Tariff Act" TABLE (1) (2) 1. 2-Customs, dated the 10th January, 1953.
