Heading 73.13 Notification No. 373/85-Cus. Dated 31-12-1985 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 34/82-Customs, dated the 28th February 1982, namely :— In the said notification, for the Table, the following Table shall be substi tuted :— TABLE Sl. No. Heading No. of the First Schedule to the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 Description of goods Rate of duty (1) (2) (3) (4) 1. 73.13 (1) All goods other than the following, namely :— 60 per cent ad valorem (a) sheets and plates, of iron or steel, of thickness not exceeding 5 millimetres; (b) tin-free coated steel sheets; and (c) galvanised sheets of iron or steel, in coils or otherwise. 2. 73.13 (1) Sheets and plates, of iron or steel, of thickness not exceeding 5 millimetres, other than the following, namely :— 80 per cent ad valorem (a) tin-free coated steel sheets, and (b) galvanised sheets of iron or steel, in coils or otherwise. 3. 73.13 (2) All goods other than tin plate waste waste. 55 per cent ad valorem."
