Amendments to Notifications No. S.O. 684(E), dated 24th September, 1986 Notification Number: 0371(E) Dated 24-05-1989 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1) and (2) of section 269UB of the Income-tax Act, 1961 (43 of 1961), the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue No. S.O. 684(E), dated 24th September, 1986, Namely:-- In column 2 of the Table to the said notification, for item (i), occurring against Serial No. 4, relating to "Appropriate Authority, Madras", the following item shall be substituted, namely:-- (i) Shri E.
