Regarding continuation of anti-dumping duty on imports of Silk fabric, originating in, or exported from People’s Republic of China - Amends notification no. 121/2006 - 37 /2011-Customs - Anti Dumping DutyExtract [TO BE PUBLISHED IN THE GAZETTE OF INDIA, EXTRAORDINARY, PART II, SECTION 3, SUB-SECTION (i)] GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF FINANCE (DEPARTMENT OF REVENUE) Notification No. 37 /2011-Customs New Delhi, 21 st April, 2011 G.S.R. 336 (E). - Whereas, the designated authority vide notification No. 15/24/2010-DGAD, dated the 6 th December, 2010, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part I, section 1, dated the 6 th December,2010, had initiated review in terms of sub-section (5) of section 9A of the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975) (hereinafter referred to as the said Customs Tariff Act) and in pursuance of rule 23 of the Customs Tariff (Identification, Assessment and Collection of Anti-dumping Duty on Dumped Articles and for Determination of Injury) Rules, 1995 (hereinafter referred to as the said rules), in the matter of continuation of anti-dumping duty on imports of Silk fabric of weight 20 to 100 gms per metre falling under tariff item 5007 of the First Schedule to the said Customs Tariff Act, originating in, or exported from People s Republic of China, imposed vide notification of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No.121/2006-Customs, dated the 26 th December,2006, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-section (i), vide number G.S.R.769(E), dated the 26 th December,2006, and had recommended for extension of anti-dumping duty, in terms of sub-section (5) of section 9A of the said Customs Tariff Act; Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) and the proviso to sub-section (5) of section 9A of the said Customs Tariff Act and in pursuance of rule 23 of the said rules, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 121/2006-Customs, dated the 26 th December,2006, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, section 3, Sub-section (i), vide number G.S.R.769(E), dated the 26 th December,2006, namely: - In the said notification, for paragraph 2, the following paragraph shall be substituted, namely: - 2. The anti-dumping duty imposed under this notification shall be effective on the date of the notification in the official gazette shall be paid in Indian currency and shall remain in force up to and inclusive of the 5 th December, 2011, unless it is revoked earlier .
