Notification : No. GSR 641, dated 24-4-1967. Subject:- Special provisions -Notifications notifying provisions of the Act as not applicable or applicable with modification in relation to companies in Goa, Daman and Diu G.S.R. 641.- In exercise of the powers conferred by section 620B of the Companies Act, 1956, as extended to the Union territory of Goa, Daman and Diu, the Central Government hereby directs that section 145 of the said Act shall apply to the Union territory of Goa, Daman and Diu subject to the modification, specified below : In the said section 145, the following proviso shall be inserted at the end, namely: Provided that any charge specified in clauses (a) to (i) of sub-section (4) of section 125 which was created before, and remaining unsatisfied at the date of incorporation of any Sociedade por quotas responsibilidade limitada as a company under the proviso to sub-section (2) of section 34 shall, insofar as it remains unsatisfied on the date of publication of this notification in the Gazette of India, be void against the liquidator and any creditor of the company, unless the prescribed particulars of the charge together with the instrument, if any, by which the charge is created or evidenced, or a copy thereof verified in the prescribed manner, are filed with the Registrar for registration in the manner required by this Act, within thirty days of the date of publication of this notification in the Gazette of India.
