Amendment in Companies (Acceptance of Deposit ) Rules - G.S.R. 300(E) - Companies LawExtract [PUBLISHED IN THE GAZETTE OF INDIA, EXTRAORDINARY, PART-II, SECTION 3, SUB-SECTION (i) on 3.4.2003] MINISTRY OF FINANCE AND COMPANY AFFAIRS DEPARTMENT OF COMPANY AFFAIRS NOTIFICATION NEW DELHI, THE 3 rd APRIL, 2003 Subject:- Amendment in Companies (Acceptance of Deposit ) Rules G.S.R. 300(E) - In exercise of the powers conferred by section 58A read with section 642 of the Companies Act, 1956 (1 of 1956), the Central Government, in consultation with the Reserve Bank of India, hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Companies (Acceptance of Deposits) Rules, 1975, namely: - 1. (1) These rules may be called the Companies (Acceptance of Deposits) Amendment Rules, 2003. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in Official Gazette. 2. In the Companies (Acceptance of Deposits) Rules, 1975, in rule 2, in sub-rule (b), after clause (xi), the following clause shall be inserted, namely: - "(xii) any amount received as loan from the National Dairy Development Board by the companies owned by it directly or through its subsidiary companies."
