Insertion of proviso to sub-rule (4) of rule 4 of the Companies (Issue of Share Certificates) Rules, 1960 - [F. NO. 1/11 /98-CL-V], - Companies Law

NO. 1/11 /98-CL-V], DATED 6-1-1999, Subject:- Insertion of proviso to sub-rule (4) of rule 4 of the Companies (Issue of Share Certificates) Rules, 1960 In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (b) of sub-section (1) of section 642 of the Companies Act, 1956 (1 of 1956), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Companies (Issue of Share Certificates) Rules, 1960, namely : (1) These Rules may be called the Companies (Issue of Share Certificates) Amendment Rules, 1999. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Companies (Issue of Share Certificates) Rules, 1960, in rule 4, in sub-rule (4), before the Explanation the following proviso shall be inserted, namely: " Provided that no counter receipt shall be issued after the 28th February, 1999"
