Section 4A of the Companies Act, 1956 - Public Financial Institution - Specified Institution - S.O. 110(E). - Companies LawExtract MINISTRY OF CORPORATE AFFAIRS NOTIFICATION NO. S.O. 110(E), DATED 9-1-2009, New Delhi, the 9 th January, 2009 Subject:- Section 4A of the Companies Act, 1956 - Public Financial Institution - Specified Institution S.O. 110(E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 4A of the Companies Act, 1956 (1 of 1956), the Central Government hereby specifies the following Institution to be Public Financial Institution and for that purpose makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India, published in the Gazette of India, Part II, Section 3, sub-section ( ii ), dated the 13-5-1978 in the erstwhile Ministry of Law, Justice and Company Affairs (Department of Company Affairs) vide number S.O. 1329, dated the 8-5-1978, namely : In the said notification, after serial number 52, the following serial number and entry relating thereto shall be added, namely : 53.
