NO. 1/15/2008-C.L.-V], DATED 26-3-2011, New Delhi, the 26 th March, 2011 Subject:- Companies (Central Government s) General Rules and Forms (Amendment) Rules, 2011 - Amendment in Form 61in Annexure A In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 642 read with section 610B of the Companies Act, 1956 (1 of 1956), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Companies (Central Government s) General Rules and Forms, 1956, namely : 1. (1) These rules may be called the Companies (Central Government s) General Rules and Forms (Amendment) Rules, 2011. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette . 2. In the Companies (Central Government s) General Rules and Forms, 1956, in Annexure A , in Form 61, for serial number 6 and the entries relating thereto, the following serial number and entries shall be substituted, namely : 6. Application filed for u Compounding of offences u Extension of period of annual general meeting by three months under section 166(1) u Extending the period of annual accounts up to eighteen months under section 210(4) u Declaring a defunct company under section 560 u Scheme of arrangement, amalgamation u Normalising a dormant company u Others.
