Rescinds the NTF. NO. 56/1998, 08/2001 & 20/2003-ST - 007/04 - Service Tax

Rescinds Notification No. 56/1998 , 08/2001 20/2003-ST Notification No. 07/2004-ST Dated 09/07/2004 G.S.R. (E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by section 93 of the Finance Act, 1994 (32 of 1994), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby rescinds the following notifications of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), as specified in column (2) of the Table below, except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such rescission, namely:- Table S.No. Notification No. and date (1) (2) 1. 56/98-Service Tax, dated the 7th October, 1998 [G.S.R. 600 (E), dated the 7th October, 1998] 2. 8/2001-Service Tax, dated the 9th July, 2001 [G.S.R.518 (E), dated the 9th July, 2001] 3. 20/2003-Service Tax, dated the 21st August, 2003 [G.S.R.678 (E), dated the 21st August, 2003]
