Customs ports - Appointment for specified purposes [Notification No. 62/94-Cus. (N.T.), dated 21-11-1994] S.O. 828(E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of section 7 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government hereby appoints the ports specified in column (3) of the table below, situated in the State or, as the case may be, the Union territory specified in the corresponding entry in column (2) of the said table, to be Customs Port for the purposes specified in the corresponding entry in column (4) of the said table.
