SIL - Marble Blocks, granite blocks/slabs/tiles, etc. import allowed TO BE PUBLISHED IN THE GAZETTE OF INDIA EXTRAORDINARYPART-II, SECTION-3, SUB SECTION (ii) GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF COMMERCE NOTIFICATION NO. 6 (RE-99) 1997-2002 NEW DELHI: 8th of May, 1999 S.O (E) - In exercise of powers conferred under section 5 of the Foreign Trade (Development and Regulation) Act, 1992 read with paragraph 1.3 and 4.1 of the Export and Import Policy, 1997-2002, the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in the ITC(HS) Classifications of Export and Import Items , 1997-2002 published on 31 st March, 1997 (RE-98) as amended from time to time, namely - After amendment, the following will read as under:- 251511 00 Crude or roughly trimmed Restricted Not permitted to be imported except against a licence or in accordance with a Public Notice issued in this behalf. Import permitted against Special Import Licence(SIL) provided C.I.F. value per metric tonne is US $ 300 and above. 251512 00 Merely cut,by sawing or otherwise, into blocks or slabs of a rectangular(including square) shape Restricted Not permitted to be imported except against a licence or in accordance with a Public Notice issued in this behalf. Import permitted against Special Import Licence(SIL) provided C.I.F. value per metric tonne is (I) for Blocks US $ 300and above(ii) for Slabs US $450 and above 251512 01 Deleted 251512 09 Deleted 251520.02 Other calcareous stone Restricted Not permitted to be imported except against a licence or in accordance with a Public Notice issued in this behalf. Import permitted against Special Import Licence(SIL) provided C.I.F. value per metric tonne is (I) for Blocks US $ 300and above(ii) for Slabs US $450 and above 680221 01 Marble blocks/ slabs/ tiles,polished Restricted Not permitted to be imported except against a licence or in accordance with a Public Notice issued in this behalf.
