SEZ notified at Faridabad, in the state of Haryana [PUBLISHED IN THE GAZETTE OF INDIA EXTRAORDINARY, PART-II SECTION-3, SUBSECTION (ii)] Government of India Ministry of Commerce and Industry (Department of Commerce) New Delhi , dated the 17th April, 2007 . NOTIFICATION S.O. 589 - (E).- WHEREAS, the proposal of M/s. Selecto Systems Pvt. Ltd. for setting up of a Special Economic Zone for IT/ITES at 15/1, Main Mathura Road, Faridabad in the State of Haryana was considered on 21st July, 2005 by the Board of Approval constituted by the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Commerce and Industry (Department of Commerce) number 14/1/2001-EPZ, dated the 7th August, 2001 and approval of the Central Government was conveyed on 2nd September, 2005; AND WHEREAS the possession of the said plot of land for the said purposes was taken over by M/s. Selecto Systems Pvt. Limited on 20th April, 1995, and the condition of the requirement of the minimum area as per the provisions of sub-rule (3) of rule 5 and Annexure II of the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006 are fulfilled; AND WHEREAS, the Central Government, on being satisfied that the requirements under sub-section (8) of section 3 of the said Act and other related requirements are fulfilled, has granted the letter of approval under sub-section (10) of section 3 to M/s Selecto Systems Pvt. Limited on 16th June, 2006 for setting up sector specific Special Economic Zone for information technology and information technology enabled services at the aforestated plot of land in Faridabad; Now therefore in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005) and in pursuance of rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006, the Central Government hereby notifies the following area at Faridabad, in the state of Haryana, comprising of the survey numbers and extent of the area given in the Table, as Special Economic Zone.
