Income-tax (Seventeenth Amendment) Rules, 2003 Notification No. 209 of 2003, dt. 1st September 2003 . In excercise of powers conferred by section 295 of Income-tax Act, 1961 (43 of 1961), the Central Board of Direct Taxes hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Income-tax Rules, 1962, namely:- 1. (i) These rules may be called the Income-tax (Seventeenth Amendment) Rules, 2003. (ii) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in then Official Gazette. 2. In the Income-tax Rules, 1962, in Appendix II, for Form No. 3A the following Form shall be substituted. [F.No. 142/3/2003-TPL]
