Amends notification No. 6/2006-Central Excise, dated the 1st March, 2006 [TO BE PUBLISHED IN THE GAZETTE OF INDIA , EXTRAORDINARY, PART II, SECTION 3, SUB-SECTION (i)] GOVERNMENT OF INDIA MINISTRY OF FINANCE (DEPARTMENT OF REVENUE) New Delhi, the 20 th September, 2007 NOTIFICATION No. 35/2007-CENTRAL EXCISE G.S.R.610 (E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 5A of the Central Excise Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), the Central Government, on being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 6/2006-Central Excise, dated the 1st March, 2006 which was published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, vide number G.S.R. 96(E), dated the 1st March, 2006, namely:- In the said notification, after S.No.75A and the entries relating thereto, following S.No. and entries shall be inserted,- (1) (2) (3) (4) (5) "75B. 9603 10 00 Brooms, consisting of twigs or other vegetable materials, bound together, with or without handles Nil -".
