Amendment in Notification no. S.O. 734(E) dated 31-7-2001 and S.O. 883(E) dated 14-9-2001 NOTIFICATION NO. 33/2008 New Delhi the 13 th March, 2008 S.O.494(E). - In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) and (2) of Section 120 of the Income tax Act, 1961 (43 of 1961), the Central Board of Direct Taxes hereby makes the following amendments in the notifications of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), (Central Board of Direct Taxes); number S.O.734(E), dated 31 st July, 2001 and S.O. 883(E), dated 14 th September, 2001 namely: - 2. In the said notifications, for the words "Commissioner of Income-tax (CIB)", wherever they occur, the words "Direct of Income-tax (CIB)" shall be substituted. 3.
