CBEC appoints Additional / Joint Commissioner of Customs Bhagirath Fibre Private Limited for the matters relating to show cause notice - 46/ 2008 - Customs - Non Tariff

NOTIFICATION NO 46/ 2008-Cus., (N.T.), Dated: May 29, 2008 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 and sub-section (1) of section 5 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Board of Excise and Customs, hereby appoints the Additional / Joint Commissioner of Customs (Import), Jawaharlal Nehru Custom House, Nhava Sheva, Raigad, Maharashtra to act as a common adjudicating authority to exercise the powers and discharge the duties conferred or imposed on the Additional / Joint Commissioner of Customs (Sea Port Import), Chennai for the purpose of adjudicating the matters relating to show cause notice pertaining to M/s. Bhagirath Fibre Private Limited, 401, Corporate Office Building, Bombay Market, Umarwada, Surat issued vide, F.No. DRI/AZU/INT 31/Bhagirath/2006, dated the 28th December, 2007, by the Additional Director, Directorate General of Revenue Intelligence, Ahmedabad Zonal Unit, Ahmedabad.
