NIIT Technologies Limited, Uttar Pradesh - S.O. 844(E) - Special Economic Zone

NIIT Technologies Limited, Uttar Pradesh Notification No : S.O. 844(E), dated 29-5-2007. Whereas, M/s. NIIT Technologies Limited, has proposed under section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005), (hereinafter referred to as the Act), to set up a sector specific Special Economic Zone for information technology and information technology enabled services at Plot No. TZ-2 2A, Sector-Tech Zone, Greater Noida, in the State of Uttar Pradesh; And whereas, the Central Government is satisfied that requirements under sub-section (8) of section 3 of the Act, and other related requirements are fulfilled and it has granted letter of approval under sub-section (10) of section 3 of the Act for development, operation and maintenance of the sector specific Special Economic Zone for information technology and information technology enabled services at the said Plot No. TZ-2 2A, Sector-Tech Zone, Greater Noida, in the State of Uttar Pradesh on 24th August, 2006; Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Act and in pursuance of rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006, the Central Government hereby notifies the land measuring 10.20 hectares comprising at Plot No. TZ-2 2A, Sector-Tech Zone, Greater Noida, in the State of Uttar Pradesh as Special Economic Zone.
