Information Technology and Communication Department, Andhra Pradesh Notification No : S.O. 964(E), dated 13-6-2007. Whereas the Information Technology and Communication Department (IT and C), Government of Andhra Pradesh, through Hyderabad Urban Development Authority (HUDA), a fully owned State Industrial Promotion Organisation of the State of Andhra Pradesh, had proposed under section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005), (hereinafter referred to as the Act), to set up a sector specific Special Economic Zone for Information Technology and Information Technology Enabled Services at Kokapet Village, Serilingampalli Mandal, Ranga Reddy District in the State of Andhra Pradesh; And whereas the Central Government on being satisfied that requirements under sub-section (8) of section 3 of the said Act, and other related requirements have been fulfilled granted letter of approval under sub-section (10) of section 3 of the Act for development, operation and maintenance of the sector specific Special Economic Zone for Information Technology and Information Technology Enabled Services at the said Kokapet Village Area on 23rd October, 2006; And whereas, IT and C and HUDA requested the Central Government for the transfer of said approval in favour of the HUDA as developer; And whereas, the Central Government after considering the said proposal accorded transfer of the approval in favour of HUDA on 30th April, 2007 and amended the approval dated 23rd October, 2006, to that extent; Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Act and in pursuance of rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006, the Central Government hereby notifies the following area at Kokapet Village, Serilingampalli Mandal, Ranga Reddy District in the State of Andhra Pradesh, as a Special Economic Zone, namely :— Table Sl.
