Maytas Ventures SEZ Private Limited, Andhra Pradesh Notification No : S.O. 967(E), dated 13-6-2007. Whereas, M/s. Maytas Properties Private Limited, a Private Organization in the State of Andhra Pradesh, has proposed under section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005), (hereinafter referred to as the Act), to set up a sector specific Special Economic Zone for Information Technology and Information Technology Enabled Services at Gundla Pochampalli Village, Medchal Mandal, Ranga Reddy District in the State of Andhra Pradesh; And, whereas, the Board of Approval after being satisfied that requirements under sub-section (8) of section 3 of the said Act, and other related requirements are fulfilled granted formal approval under sub-section (10) of section 3 of the Act for development, operation and maintenance of the sector specific Special Economic Zone for Information Technology and Information Technology Enabled Services at the said Gundla Pochampalli Village Area which was conveyed by the Central Government on 26th October, 2006; And, whereas, Maytas Venturs SEZ Private Limited is a wholly owned subsidiary of M/s. Maytas Properties Private Limited and a special purpose vehicle for setting up of said Special Economic Zone; And, whereas, M/s. Maytas Properties Limited has proposed for the transfer of the approval of the said Special Economic Zone to M/s. Maytas Ventures SEZ Private Limited, and the Central Government after considering the said transfer proposal approved it and conveyed such transfer of approval of 14th March, 2007; Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Act and in pursuance of rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006, the Central Government hereby notifies the following area at Gundla Pochampalli Village, Medchal Mandal, Ranga Reddy District in the State of Andhra Pradesh, comprising of the Survey numbers and the area given in the table below, as a Special Economic Zone, namely :— Table Sl.
