INFOPARK, ERNAKULAM, KERALA - S.O. 1436(E) - Special Economic Zone

INFOPARK, ERNAKULAM, KERALA Notification No : S.O. 1436(E), dated 20-8-2007. Whereas M/s. Infopark, a private organisation in the State of Kerala, has proposed under section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005), (hereinafter referred to as the Act), to set up a sector - Specific Special Economic Zone for Information Technology and Information Technology Enabled Services at Kusumagiri, Village Kakkanad, Ernakulam in the State of Kerala; And whereas, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Act read with rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006, has notified the total area of 30.7683 hectares at Kusumagiri, Village Kakkanad, Ernakulam in the State of Kerala, as Special Economic Zone in the Ministry of Commerce Industry Notification No. S.O. 1629(E), dated 28th September, 2006; And whereas, the Central Government is satisfied that the requirements under sub-section (8) of section 3 of the Act and other related requirements are fulfilled; Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by second proviso to sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Act and in pursuance of rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006, the Central Government hereby notifies an additional area of 1.8563 hectares at Kusumagiri, Village Kakkanad, Ernakulam in the State of Kerala, comprising of the Survey numbers and the area given below in the table, to be included as a part of that Special Economic Zone, namely :— TABLE S.No. Survey Number Area (in Hectares) (1) (2) (3) 1. 633/5 0.0900 2 669/1 0.0600 3. 669/2 0.6800 4. 671/1 0.0100 5. 684/4 Part 0.9273 6. 684/2 0.780 7. 684/3 0.0110 Total 1.8563 hectares
