The details of foreign investment reported through routes of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) inflow and Foreign Portfolio Investment (FPI) inflows (net) during the last five financial years are as under:

As shown in table above, despite COVID-19 pandemic, the country has shown growth both in FDI inflow and FPI inflows (net) during Financial Year 2020-21 as compared to previous Financial Year 2019-20. This information was given by the Minister of State in the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Shri Som Parkash, in a written reply in the Lok Sabha today. |
