Free Issue Supply of Import Goods Directly from Port, Customs - Exim - SEZ

Sir/Madame,

We have cleared goods from the Customs under the Project Import and want to FREE ISSUE the material to the vendor for the job work.After the completion of work at the vendor's factory the material will be directly dispatched to the site.

Kindly help me with following queries:

1) As the goods are cleared under Project Import, so do I need any documentation from the Customs for dispatching the material to the Vendor as Free Issue for the Job Work?

2)Documentation I will have to carry out with Excise Authorities for the Job Work.

Dear Sir/Ma'am,

You would have to inform to the concerned State VAT Authority (if you are not registered under State VAT Laws), Customs Authority well in advance that goods imported under Project Import needs job-work. Central Excise Department should also be intimated.  You may use job-work challan for this purpose.  After getting the goods job-worked you would have to provide information to the Customs Department for its' reconciliation.  If required kindly obtain necessary permissions in advance to avoid any unwarranted situation which may occur in near future.
